Start your Cardiff story
Ceri Jones (BMus 2003)
Music
“The reason I chose to come to Cardiff was because, I’m kind of from the outskirts of London, so I love the idea that Cardiff was a capital city. Both my parents were Welsh, so I loved the idea of living in Wales for the first time, where everyone can pronounce my name properly, which is wonderful.”
After pivoting from a successful 10 year career in orchestral management to become a food educator, food writer and chef, Ceri has racked up a series of accolades, including a published cookery book with Pavilion/Harper Collins, and teaching hundreds of cooking classes, inspiring people of all ages to cook from scratch.
Together, we can
Ceri teaches that food is a great way of bringing people together, and she learned to cook at Cardiff while sharing a house with four other girls who are still close friends of hers to this day.
